This is not merely an act of depiction, but a process of translating the energy generated by the sheer presence of matter into a unique plastic language. My ideal is a state where nature, vitality, and the ego emerge by attaining the appropriate mass through the intense struggle between substance and space.
To this end, I respect the métier inherited from ancient times and reject descriptive elements or trends. Color is not used to simply decorate an object, but as a complement to achieve “the color that ought to be there”.
Art is the inquiry into “Who am I?”, and I do not create forms simply to explain a theme. The essence of my creation is to discover forms that react to my ego and temperament through a dialogue with the subconscious.
Even if it may appear eccentric by conventional standards, I resonate with the philosophy that truth, in itself, constitutes beauty.
While looking up to the lineage of formative arts since primitive times, I believe that by acting upon the unknown self and through self-destruction, one can step into the path of pursuing the truth: “Where am I going?”
